CourseStorm streamlines access to education by providing powerful class registration, enrollment management, and marketing tools that are simple for learners and educators to use. We’ve already made over 1 million connections to educational learnings – and we are growing fast. We’re seeking an organized, technology savvy, motivated, curious, and skilled Sales Support Representative to help us build the future of our platform and amplify the impact we can have.

As a vital member of our sales team, your primary role will be to provide essential support by promptly responding to inbound leads. These leads come through various channels, and our objective is to ensure they have the opportunity to meet with our skilled Account Executives, who can effectively demonstrate the exceptional features and benefits of CourseStorm. Your daily tasks will involve contacting leads through phone calls, emails, and text messages, engaging in meaningful conversations to assess their suitability, and scheduling future meetings with our Account Executives to explore potential partnerships.

Moreover, you will play a crucial role in data management within our CRM system, specifically using HubSpot. Proficiency in working with spreadsheets and modern CRM systems is essential for this aspect of the role. In addition, you will utilize other technological tools to effectively generate qualified lead lists, supporting our outbound teams in their proactive sales efforts. Lastly, there may be opportunities for you to assist in the preparation and completion of sales Request for Proposals (RFPs).

To be an outstanding candidate, you'll have demonstrated the ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain excellent attention to detail. Your strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with your customer-centric approach, will set you apart. Experience with CRM software and proficiency in managing data accuracy will be key to success in this role. Additionally, your adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving skills will contribute to the overall effectiveness of our sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to all Inbound Leads: You will be responsible for promptly and professionally responding to all inbound leads received via email, phone, and chat. This includes gathering relevant information, answering inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Qualifying Inbound Leads: As a Sales Support Representative, you will assess the needs and requirements of each lead, engaging in conversations to understand their goals and pain points. You will then move qualified leads to the discovery stage, transitioning them to the AEs.
  • Implementing New Technology: CourseStorm is committed to leveraging innovative technology to streamline our sales processes. You will assist in the implementation and adoption of new tools and technologies that improve sales efficiency and productivity. This may involve providing training and support to the sales team.
  • Maintaining CRM Accuracy: Accuracy and integrity of customer data is vital for effective sales operations. You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring that all customer information, interactions, and progress are properly recorded and up to date.
  • List Creation: In collaboration with AEs and the Business Development Representative (BDR) team, you will help create targeted lists of potential customers and prospects. These lists will be used for outbound marketing efforts, lead generation, and nurturing campaigns.
  • Assisting with RFPs: As needed, you will support the sales team by assisting with the preparation and completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs). This may involve gathering information, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management.
  • Extraordinarily hard-working. We have a big challenge ahead and are a fast-paced team, it takes a lot of effort to succeed here.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining focus and work ethic - must be super organized and results-oriented.
